Let me preface, I feel so far behind. And you should too.
It’s impossible not to with what I’m seeing on twitter and youtube from engineers on the front lines.
Claude Code, specifically after the release of ‘skills’, has been revolutionary. Finally we are seeing claims of 5x, even 10x productivity leverage gains from super users (engineers lol).

Claude Code’s creator Boris Cherny confirmed that Claude Cowork, a modified version of claude code for the desktop app that focuses on a less technical user experience, confirmed the product was built with code 100% generated by AI.
Andrej Karpathy (previous director of AI at Tesla, often described by peers as a genius, one of one mind) gave his latest thoughts recently. This tweet is worth the read. He’s up to 80% of code generated by AI. He also suspects the “10x engineer” could grow even higher.

If you’re still thinking of AI as the “cool chatbot” who can do party tricks, or the thing that helps you re-write your emails, you’re woefully mistaken.
But the single piece of content that pushed me to write about AI is from Davos 2026. Two of best minds that are pushing the forefront of advancement with this technology. This interview will open your eyes to our current state and how soon we should expect monumental change. Hater’s will continue in denial. “Of course they’re accelerating the timeline, it’s in their best interest to keep the hype going. Bubble popping any day now”.
That’s fine, let them. But the smartest minds in the world are all predicting this is very much not a bubble, rather that we are on the precipice of a technology shift the world has not seen before. Ask the founders of the top VC firm of all time, a16z. Ben and Marc’s track record speaks for itself. We’re going to live through the most significant transformation in human history. No one knows what is going to happen. We’re lucky we have leaders like Demis and Dario leading us through this, I’m very grateful.
I am choosing to believe that humanity will benefit long-term, it will not be easy. I acknowledge that could be wrong. I am choosing to lean in, and you should too.
